I cannot believe how far we are into December already. What a year it has been! With Gary turning 2 in a couple of days... Christmas coming up... and I am going to be turning...(gulp)...28 soon, I am just wondering where time goes.
We got to put up our first Christmas tree in our house, and actually have stockings on the fireplace. My wonderful friend, Rebecca, got us new stockings knowing what we were planning on doing. They really complete the whole look.
Gary has been doing so well since he got out of the hospital. He loves the Christmas tree and cannot go and hide behind it so that he can look at it with out Mommy telling him to be careful. With him turning two, and in a big boy bed, I just keep thinking that if I blink he will be driving. He is so sweet and so much fun. He is constantly talking and loves to yell Mama and Dada to make sure we are still around.
We also made our first official batch of Lassley Christmas cookies. They turned out pretty good...but a few more years of practice should get them right.
Now if only Gary's party goes smoothly on Sunday!
